I've had my own back porch have a vine grow through the wood, it's quite a sight! Did you decide to keep the old living room grate after patching it? Looking forward to more updates, love the work that has been done!

Neville @ Electrical ExpertsNevillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01284636293810392289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4537355151674491939.post-76794028245723748412016-08-04T00:58:45.124-04:002016-08-04T00:58:45.124-04:00Ross, just a quick FYI: I had accidentally made a ...Ross, just a quick FYI: I had accidentally made a duplicate post from the Farmhouse "part 12.5". The one that got deleted had a comment from you (the other post had more comments). I did get it, and I saw it.JChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09831757279235998895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4537355151674491939.post-3813543547132717612016-05-04T12:05:18.909-04:002016-05-04T12:05:18.909-04:00This house looking interesting. There isn't much wrong with it. It needs new electrical (not that big of a deal) and cosmetic work which will mostly just be painting, and refinishing the floors.

Parts of the house, admittedly, would be better if completely rebuilt, but those are limited to the back addition and the detached barn. The detached barn is leaning quite dangerously, and some of the holes and rot in the floor make it unsafe. Still, it does have a lot of charm, and it might be fun to completely disassemble it and put it all back together again.JChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09831757279235998895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4537355151674491939.post-63778473718532086812016-04-25T02:10:40.533-04:002016-04-25T02:10:40.533-04:00Most people would knock this house down without he...Most people would knock this house down without hesitation.

What I so enjoy about your approach is that you are taking the time to learn about the house, and are also valuing what CAN be valued.

Bravo!Rosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11809279474923305715noreply@blogger.com
