So not much of an update, but last night and this afternoon, I got the walls of the main staircase/stairwell painted. It's a lovely shade of pale grey which turned out just how I wanted. Pics soon. I will likely just go back to Google Photos for my photos, but I need to re-familiarize myself with their system. I had moved away from them because I hated it.
First time to comment for me, I think? I just want to let you know I check in from time to time to see what you have been up to. I so enjoy seeing and reading about what you have done to your charming house. I so appreciate the painstaking attention to detail which you bring to your work. I have learned so much from reading your blog and have come to bo on the lookout for foursquare houses in my travels.
ReplyDeleteHi, JC.
ReplyDeletePreviously, I stated that I did not understand why your blog, and your images, are not on the same platform.
I have several blogs, and all are hosted by WordPress. They also host the images. When I write a post, I easily upload images to the blog. I can change the sizes as I see fit, and adjust right/left/center, and other features.
Not once have I ever had to laboriously re-upload images.
I enjoy hearing of another update, and look forward to seeing the photos! Best of luck gettinf ypur photo hosting sorted out too.
ReplyDeleteJC - I have an Foursquare home as well (outside of Boston) and have fallen in love. I enjoy following your blog and look forward to more posts. I have a small, but growing blog of my own, with a section dedicated to these lovely homes. I recently wrote a post listing 16 American Foursquare blogs to follow and admire, and listed your website. I hope it’s OK (if not, let me know and I’ll remove). https://everydayoldhouse.com/american-foursquare-home-blogs/ (I wanted to reach out via email versus a public comment, but I couldn’t locate your email address..). Thanks! Jen
